Friday Fabulousness~Who has a case of the blahs? I do! I do!

{Hap-BEE Halloween!}

I know, right? You guys are all “quit posting so often, we can’t keep up!” I’ve just got a case of the blahs and when naptime – which is blog time in this here household – comes around this little lady just zonks right out.Or maybe watches some SVU.Detective Stabler…yum. For some reason my writing mojo has taken a vacation, and I don’t think it’s somewhere fabulous like Crete. I think my mojo is somewhere snowed in and miserable. I got snowed in with some friends in a cabin Aspen once in High School. It was far less fun than you might imagine.Anyway, I’ve got to kick my own booty into gear because tomorrow I get to go to the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear and record my first iVillage report. If that isn’t fabulous, I don’t know what is!Hot on the heels of that I get to dress up my precious boy and take him out trick or treating! I have successfully taught him how to say “trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat” Motherhood? CHECK!

And crazy exciting news, as I work on getting my (blog) groove back (where is Taye Diggs? What? It worked for Stella!) I have a couple of HOT MEN who shall be entertaining you with their hilarity. First up is the brilliant Jamie Grayson AKA the baby guy.He doesn’t have a blog, but I think we should insist that he rectifies that on the immediate. I always love reading mens perspectives on parenthood and shopping.

In the meantime, what was fabulous in your life this week? Or did you have the blahs too? I hope not….it’s not miserable or unhappy…it’s just…blah.

  1. My blogging mojo has been missing since BlogHer! I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy or work or what…but I’m working to get it back too. And when Taye Diggs is done helping you with your groove, send him my way please.

Love me some Jamie – can’t wait to see what he has to say.

  2. Sometimes the blahs are a good thing…Ironically I wrote a post on that last night. Sometimes I find it uncanny that we run along similar thought lines once a month…guess it’s not that weird. But yes- I wrote a little parable on dry seasons…I think you have spectacular beauty to look forward to soon…
But I am sorry you are feeling this way- tis never fun. If it’s any consolation I have seasonal depression and often feel the blahs when the time change comes nearer. It will get better:)
    Happy Halloween!

  3. Love the bee costume! And glad you are back. Sorry you have the blahs! This week was fabulous because Kaia turned 4 months old yesterday! (Ah,, to be so young that every month is a milestone!)

  4. I think I always have the blahs. Which really is no bueno. BUT, what ya gonna do. However, the picture of Max as a bumble bee….enough to take the blahs away for a minute AT LEAST! So adorable!

Here’s hoping you get over your blahs soon, and come back rarin to go.

Oh wait, you want a fabulous? Hmmmmm, fabulous is my show is finally over and I can get my normal life back. Fabulous is….Jer gets to direct the NEXT show at the college. Woo hoo! And also fabulous, Jer is ALMOST done with his freaking degree! Yep, there is some good out there.

  5. That mojo will be back in no time.
And I love the baby guy!
And I’m so excited for you to rally! Rally it up, girl!
And let me know how it ends… if I should be afraid or sane.

  6. Adorable!

I had no time for a “fabulous” post today as I was in a running coach class all day, but I’m so jealous of your activity tomorrow. Beer Geek wanted to go, but I’m in class again and he’s afraid it would be too much for him with both boys. Have a great time and I can’t wait for your report!

  7. I think I had a little bit of both! My “fabulous” would be that I Just started my own blog! My blah would be that I am missing my oldest (20 year old) daughter who moved to Chicago last February to get married (it was one of my posts this week.) We were really good friends, and as happy as I am for her, I can’t help but miss her too! So, my week had been mixed! Looking forward to taking my other three kiddies out Trick or Treating though!

I’m looking forward to reading your guest posts!!!
