A gift for Huckleberry and for YOU!!!!

This giveaway is now closed.

Because blogging is awesome, Carousel Designs gifted Huckleberry with a crib blanket to help ease his transition from bassinet in mommy’s room to comfy crib in the Boss’s room. It all came about after a late night bedding search on the old twitterz with Nic and Rebekah, both of whom are actually currently expecting and not just getting around to setting things up for their EIGHT MONTH OLD!
But I digress.

Β {don’t judge the room y’all. It’s a work in progress!}

Carousel Designs is the kind of company that makes me lament not knowing of them when Boss was little…because ZOMG!Β  First off let’s discuss the nursery design tool, I spent about two hours playing on this and trying to convince TOTT that we need one more baby. Of the girl variety. And then I basically forced Cat to buy one for her baby girl. Because someone needed to! The lovebirds! OH THE LOVEBIRDS!!! By forced I mean I said “Cat! Look at the pretties!” And she said “buying it.”

{hey mommy! the sun is in my eyes!}

Anyway, long story short, after hemming and hawing about which blankie I wanted for Huckleberry I finally chose the Animal Parade pattern and I couldn’t be happier that I did. It’s ridiculous how cute this is! I love the colors, they have that groovy vintage thing that’s going on right now but would fit right in a modern nursery as well. Plus the backing is a white Minky fabric and I think we all know how I feel about that.

I haven’t a bad thing to say about this blanket or company. It arrived lightening fast, well packaged, it’s soft, well made and we adore it. Then they told me I could give one to YOU! And I did the Meposian Dance of Joy because I don’t do too many giveaways and I won’t giveaway something unless I really love it. And I really love this blanket.

I want.

I love that you can pick and choose a whole nursery set for yourself, or you can pick on of their beautiful coordinated sets. I love that they are made in the good Old USA, and that they believe in charity.

Honestly these blankets are the perfect size for a couch throw too. I confess I sometimes steal Huckleberry’s and toss it over my legs while working on the laptop. *cough* right now *cough*

So, here’s the deal…go over to Carousel Designs and tell me which blanket you’d pick if you were the winner! (It’s okay to chose two or three…I know it took me a bit to settle on one because I wanted several) (also have fun playing with the nursery design page. trust me on this…we will see you in an hour or so….)

  1. Oh, these are adorable, and I have a friend expecting her first baby in a just a few weeks. I think she’d love the Nursery Rhyme Toile Sage Crib Blanket. Too cute!

  2. OK first that site is amazing, you have no idea for the past 3 weeks my mother and I have been searching all over the web for baby bedding that isn’t (What I call) over babyish, and not too boring.

    I am pregnant for the first time with a boy. I am the first in 3 generations to have a BOY!!! My husband and I live in Brooklyn, NY and I think my baby needs to be just as stylish as I am, as I parade him around Brooklyn this coming spring. The Animal Parade Blanket is just freaking adorable. It falls in my not to babyish looking category and the colors are amazing.

    My email gallagher.annie@gmail.com

    Good luck to everyone that Enters!

  3. oh my goodness – i love the Gray and Yellow Zig Zag Crib Blanket!! It will be perfect for my little boy to be who is coming June 30th, I have always wanted a gray and yellow nursery!

    Thanks so much!!!

  4. Wow, these are gorgeous. I have to pick just one? Seriously? Sock monkey, sage chirp, girly owl, lovebirds……um……wow. They’re all so gorgeous! Okay, Sock Monkey it is – they’re apparently big right now. I’ll either give it to my friend for her new baby or maybe it will live on my couch and I can fight my oldest daughter over it.

  5. Oh.My.Gosh what amazing choices! I need a baby just so I can have a nursery do-over! Thankfully I have pg friends to share this goodness with. I love Starling. And Love Birds. And Girly Owl. And of course Lime Blossom…

  6. Wow – I wish I had known about Carousel Designs BEFORE I had 2 kids (youngest 6 months). I love the Lime Solar Flair pattern. My kids will be sharing a room soon – so keeping it gender neutral is good – and I’ve been loving lime green with blues lately.

  7. As you know, my baby fever knows no bounds. Currently in treatment to try to have a baby, and I’d love a little blanket to look at and KNOW I’ll soon have a little baby to fill it. A hope blanket, if you will. I love the circus toile, it’s adorable. I fell in love with it and am currently planning the whole nursery around it now! Do you think I can get that tightrope guy from the Super Bowl to go in the nursery???

  8. Fabulous site! Thank you so much for letting us know! I wish I had known about it when I was pregnant!! Anyhow – I am entering as the proud Auntie of a baby boy coming later this spring. Going for the Animal Parade blanket – fabulous!! Thanks for letting us know about this great company!

  9. Too much great stuff. Now I want to totally redesign the boys’ room. I would be allll over the coastal crib bedding for C-monster.

  10. Shoot, I just spent WAY too much time designing a nursery for the baby who already has one. But I would get any of the chevron ones. Love.

  11. While not the most fun designs, I’d go with either Solid Navy or Navy Gingham to match the navy-striped bedskirt I have in C’s room.

  12. I so want a set with the Windy Day fabrics!
    But if I have to choose from the existing collections, I would choose Spa Pom Pon Play, it is fab!

  13. I want the Pink Over the Moon Toile Crib Blanket. It’s so, so, so pretty and I’m sure baby girl will look divine on it! Or the Little Bunny Cottontail Toile Crib Blanket. Or if it’s to be Sam the Man that gets this awesome gift I love the Sock Monkey Crib Blanket. Now I’m off to tweet and follow and tweet some more. πŸ™‚

  14. Oh wow -this is hard, but I think I’ve decided on the Sage Chirp Crib blanket. They all look so beautiful!
